Object of the guideline
The object of the guideline is to stimulate the operators of cable railways and ski areas to carry out an audit and to aid them in this.
Thereby the assessment parameters relevant for an audit are to be presented and a methodical set applicable within the framework of the audit is to be identified. As a further principle result of the project, knowledge of the methological details of integrated interstate assessment processes should be communicated.
It is not only about providing prerequisites, data and recommendations for a concrete improvement but also to develop a scientifically based model that will be used over the entire alpine range. The form of the guide can be seen against this backdrop. The main attributes are shown in the following table:

Altogether the guide should - provide concrete support when establishing and executing the audit through the on the ground experience gained in the project - offer clear methodology for the execution of the audit and the basics for a professional standard - present the complex content in applicable and practical form through diagrams and examples.
